Hello Class! Welcome to 6th Grade! We are going to have a fabulous year!

My name is Bobbi Edwards.  I live in American Fork with my husband, three little boys, and two dogs. 

This is my 14th year of teaching, my 13th in 6th grade.  I began teaching in Jordan District, then moved to Deerfield and taught 3rd grade for one year.  I changed to Meadow and was there until Dry Creek opened.  I have been here since the beginning! 

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Utah in 2005, GO UTES! I also graduated from SUU with a Master's in Education this last December. Teaching is my passion, I love to help students improve and grow as well as to laugh with them.  Sixth grade is the best grade ever!

I grew up in Utah, Montana, and Washington.  The most time was spent with my grandparents, who were like my parents, in Salem.  They taught me to value education, learn from everything, and especially to LOVE reading. They also taught me to deeply respect and seek to understand differences. 

I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters of my own and my husband shared his 3 sisters and 2 brothers.  I also have 6 brothers/sisters in law and lots of wonderful nieces & nephews.  

My husband is incredible.  He loves sports and has taught me a lot! I am pretty nerdy, (I love Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, etc..) but I also love the outdoors. We are a great balance for our boys.  We love playing with our kids and just enjoying each other.  My boys are 8 year old Graham, who is a 3rd grader at Dry Creek this year, 4 year old Kyden, and 2 year old Everett or EJ.  Our boys are crazy energetic and love to climb everything.  They make us laugh every day.
